Racquets Open Graded Squash Doubles 27-29 June 2008 Mens, Ladies & Mixed Grades A through E LIVE MUSIC on Saturday Night with WAYNE WALKER Hithercroft Open 2008 - PSA 1 star Professional event If you've not managed to get tickets for Wimbledon this year and you are interested in watching some world-class professional squash this years Hithercroft Open will see some of the top International players doing battle in the town of Wallingford. The competition will start on the 27th May 2008, with the finals being held on the 1st June. Abingdon Men’s 1st Team play in National Cup Congratulations to Abingdon's 1st team for getting through the first round a convincing 4-1. They now play away at Windsor on Thursday 22nd May.
Annual General Meeting The Annual General Meeting is being held on Monday, 12th May 2008 at Romanway Sports & Social Club, Horspath Road, Cowley, Oxford at 7.30pm. Playoffs - 26 April 2008 The playoffs for Divisions 3, 5, 6, 7 and Ladies Division 2 were held at Abingdon Squash Club on Saturday, 26 April. Division 3 was won by North Oxon 1; Division 5 was won by Banbury West End 1; Division 6 was won by Abingdon 5; Division 7 was won by Lord Williams and Ladies Division 2 was won by Morris Motors 1. Full results here. Men's Division 1 was won outright by Abingdon 1 and Ladies Division 1 was won outright by University Ladies. Division 2 was won by Morris Motors 1 as Racquets 2 scrubbed, and Racquets 3 won Division 4 as Chipping Norton scrubbed. All trophies will be presented at the OSRA Awards. Dinner being held on Saturday, 7 June 2008 at the Four Pillars Oxford Spires Hotel, Abingdon Road. All divisional winners (and award winners) will be entitled to a free ticket. New Chair and Secretary Required for OSRA The current Chairman and County Secretary have advised the Committee that they will not be standing again at the AGM and we need to find replacements. Summer League Men's Leagues and Ladies Leagues were sent out 22.4.08 together with a Newsletter (if you downloaded the Men's fixtures on 21.4.08, there was a slight error with Harwell - correct fixtures now affixed here). Junior Intercounty Stage II - Reports GU13's - BU13's - BU15's - BU17's May Half Term for Kids Venue: Racquets Fitness Centre Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 27/28/29th May £15 per day for members and £18 per day for non-members (lunch is included) There will be a number of coaches and players will be split up by standard for the coaching.
